HQ in a different room to usual is our second annual christmas special. in a festive feast of a show spencer is frozen alive and then thawed out again, a new jingle makes it's horrific debut, chaffe brings a tear to the eye with his christmas speech, and the man at the door turns out not to be annual gift man after all. best of all though are the festive favourites re recorded by some of nottingham's best bands.... and they are:

Not in Nottingham returns after a 4 month hiatus and put their artistic differences aside to reunite for the 17th podcast recorded live at via vaudeville! HQ in radford. despite all the team hating each other and contractual stipulations that certain members cannot be present in the same room the show is still top notch. in the show spencer meddles with the dark arts, we deal with a sack load of complaints, our first feature for girls makes its debut, we show the bbc and gmtv how a honest competition should be done, a carry on film for the noughties is created, everyone forgets to mention lee has moved to manchester despite really meaning to, chaffe's art guide goes next level and we find out about tom's special shoe. we still love doing this, it's still got some decent people and good banter, it still makes you smile and occasionally laugh..... and it's still all for nowt! Hello all sorry we've been away for so long. the summer has been difficult with everyone either workng or not working and being abroad. anyways to make up for our absence and to prepare you all for our return here is the first in our new series of mixtapes. whenever we are unable to bring you a new not in nottingham we will endeavor to publish mixtapes put together by anyone who wants to create one. the first mixtape we proudly present was currated by notts electro motorhomer alf m and takes in colourbox, cha cha cohen and durutti column, there's also a little jackie mason thrown in for good measure. we hope you enjoy it, another one will be up soon and a brand new not in nottingham should be here before august is out. if you fancy making us a mix we'd love that. - not in nottingham team -

In the show some quality Notts tunes (and one from a band who are coming to Notts), Spencer takes science outside and for once conducts an experiment, we find out who described Tom as prickly, the team seamlessly recovers from a broken mic incident, another guest takes their place on the sofa, the interview in writing gets political, Chaffe's artistic credibility takes another battering thanks to the gig and art guide rap, Sadie says the address in a lovely fashion, some terrifying (if slightly out of date now) news is broken and the winners of our car sticker giveaway are announced. with some decent people, some half decent banter and, as always, all for nowt.
